A two picture day!!!!!!!!!!

Hello again.

I have more big news to report. Today, I rolled over on my own for the first time. I don't know if it's all that special, but Mommy and Daddy seemed to think it was the world's biggest deal. So, I guess it must have been. I only did it from tummy to back. I can't go the other way yet. That makes me mad, too. I know how it's supposed to work for crying out loud. It's ridiculous I can't do it. It's probably because I get so frustrated.

Other things have been happening, too. The bottom picture is of me on my activity pad. I have met new friends there named Giraffe and Monkey. They don't talk like Moo Cow. But, to be honest, Moo Cow kinda scares me. He can be loud too much. It has tunes on it, something Mommy calls Mowtszart. I haven't learned the spelling yet. That's just how it sounds to me. Daddy said its spelled Mozart. I guess I should believe him, I just don't see how that works.

As you'll also notice, I've yet to solve the riddle of Daddy and the Bright Light. He keeps pulling it out. I think he's trying to blind me. Cripes Daddy. My eyes need a break here.

That's all for today. Remember, as the MAC basketball tournament approaches, as Daddy always says ... Muck Fiami!!! (Anyone know what that means?)

My advice on life

Daddy says I have a new baby cousin. His name is Ethan. I haven't met him yet. He has a four year old sister named Jordan. I've met her. She's really nice.

I come here today to try and pass on some pearls of wisdom to Ethan. After all, in my two months on the planet, I've learned a lot.

So, here goes.

If you want something, don't be afraid to scream for it. This works well in the areas of food, clean diapers and attention. When I use my lung capacity to let my Mommy and Daddy know I want something, dude, you'd be surprised to see how quickly they respond. It doesn't matter what time, either. Just last night, I woke my Daddy up at 3:30 a.m. just for the heck of it, then went back to sleep, only to truly desire food an hour later. We have an awesome power, Ethan.

When you find something you like, wear it out. For me, it's a toy. I have a playpen like yours. Mine has teddy bears on it, too. In fact, that picture is of me in that playpen watching my bears spin. I love watching the bears. Mommy and Daddy seem to like them a little less than me. Just yesterday, Daddy wondered when we might get something that spins on its own. The bears are one of my favoritest things in the whole world. Seeing them boogie makes me smile.

Eat whenever they give it to you. Yes, I know. It has no taste. Still, I love being full. I'm sure you do, too. Stock up, then sleep as hard as you casn. You'll find the adults let you sleep whenever, wherever you want. Life as a baby is great.

Shots. When you hear this word, RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know we can't run yet. But, you have an advantage: Jordan. She really likes you and can help you get away if your Mommy and Daddy decide to get you attacked by needles. Use that to your advantage. All I had was the kitty. Fat lot of good she did.

Binkys. Don't be fooled. Nothing comes out of them. So, when they give it to you to quiet you while they try to get your bottle ready, don't believe the hype. They're nothing more than a tool used to try and shut us up. Fight the power.

Play time. I remember being your age. I didn't play much then, either. But, once you get the energy, play like there's no tomorrow. After all, you're a baby.

The bright light. My Daddy told me your Mommy said you hate the bright light adults use, too. I've been told it comes from something called a camera they use to take pictures. I hate the light. I really do. My Daddy tries to not use it, but then he starts talking about blurry pictures and to be honest, I lose interest.

There you have it, dude. Enjoy life on the outside.

I had a big day

Today, I had my first round of shots. I must tell you, I don't care to ever have a second round.
Shots are icky. The needle hurts. There was this nice woman who weighed me. Then, Dr. Couling came in and checked me out. He left, then the nice woman came back in and stuck me with a needle. FOUR TIMES!!! That's right, four times.

Daddy told me last night I was going to have a big day today. I think what he meant to say was some woman was going to attack me with needles. Cripes daddy, a big day is when I get a new toy or a new visitor. Today was not one of those days.

Did I mention mommy and daddy are taking me back to that place in two months so they can do this sadistic trick all over again? Oh yeah. They're going to force me into what they call "another round of shots." If they thought I was angry today, just wait. I have something planned for them.

There was good news today. I now weigh 10 pounds, 15 ounces and am 23 1/2 inches long/tall. Daddy says I can start calling myself tall instead of long when I start standing. Dr. Couling also said I am progressing exactly how I should. So, I say YAY!!!!!!!!!

I also took a bath today. I like them because there's warm water. I hate being cold.

The bath is where that picture comes from. That's me in my froggy hooded towel. I won't tell you what I did right after that picture. Let's just say that wasn't the towel they used to dry me off. ...

So, all in all, it was an uneven day. I'll talk to you all again soon. And remember, no matter what my grandpa Conant tells you, the Steelers are evil.

My photo

Daddy took a while figuring out how to get my picture up here. But, here I am.

OK, I'm not quite that young anymore. But still, I am a somewhat active baby.

Daddy likes taking pictures of me. I'm not sure how to feel about that. On one hand, whtever Daddy feels like he needs to do, fine. But I really wish the camera didn't have that bright light. I don't like the bright light. It really bothers me.

I'm wearing socks on my hands not because I'm making hand puppets, but because mommy figured out it was the best way to keep me from scratching myself. I've gone to sleep and woken up with my fingernails short too many times to count. That doesn't stop me though. I'm Super Baby.

Time to go night-night. I'm sleepy.

Hi. My name's Connor

Hi. I'm Connor. I've been home almost two whole months. Since then, I've learned to make noises, eat and roll over.

Rolling over is a new one for me. I haven't done it a lot. Most of the time I do it on my mommy. I do it on daddy occasionally, too. I only did it on the floor a couple times. Once, the kitty got in the way. She doesn't do it anymore. I don't know if the kitty likes me. She seems sorta indifferent on the whole me idea.

I'm learning a lot of stuff on a daily basis. I'm even sleeping through the night. Well, actually from about 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. But still, daddy keeps saying it's a big step for me.

So, I'll keep you all updated on my progress. I'll try to do it weekly. But, as you know by looking at my pictures, I'm still a baby.
