Slacking off

My Daddy hasn't been slacking as much as he's been busy. But, we're going to come through with an update now, mainly because I'm sitting here making sure he does it.

I'm huge now. Well, not huge. But I'm bigger. That counts, right? I'm learning all the time. I've even found ways to be unique. Mommy and Daddy say that's called my personality. I guess they must be right. They've been dead on about everything else. (By the way, I'm saying that because I know they're reading. I'd really like to play more and sleep more.)

The biggest thing I've learned is that I have feet. They're these wonderful creations on the end of my legs. Mommy says they've been there all along. I wonder if that's true. Had they been there, I would have known. I can hold them and even get them in my mouth on occasion. Daddy says he never does that with his. I think it might have something to do with the invisible socks Daddy wears.

I'm normally very proud of Mommy and Daddy, but lately I'm even more so. Daddy is a sports reporter. Did I tell you that before? He goes to games and tells people what happened. But, he says there's more to it. Anyway, he won two awards for his writing, first place even. He won in the Best Sports Writer category for papers his size in the whole big state and in Best Sports Breaking News with a bunch of people he works with. I don't know exactly what winning that stuff means. He's always been first place in Best Daddy, just like Mommy is first place in Best Mommy.

I'm slowly figuring out how to make sounds. It's a process. Right now, Mommy and Daddy say it sounds like I'm saying "Goy-Goy-Goy" a lot. I wish they'd wisen up some. It's impossible to have a rational conversation with these people when they don't even try to comprehend a thing I'm saying. Drives me up the wall, I gotta tell ya.

Roling over is getting easier and I'm really enjoying my Leap Frog. I hit thingies that hang down fom it and it talks to me. Now, it's trying to teach me words. HOORAY!!!!! I like learning words.

Life is great right now. The bottles are full and the diapers are empty. It's a baby's dream.
